We seek to employ suitably qualified, innovative and dynamic individuals to fill the vacant positions
below:

WINDING ENGINE DRIVER
This position reports to the Winding Engine Foreman.

Job Purpose
To be responsible for operations of all Winders.

Key Performance Areas:
Examine and sign the driver’s log book and acknowledge by signature each un-cancelled entry

Run the engine only at specified times.

Observe and operate the winding engine only according to authorized signals.

Total availability always from start of shifts unless there is a reason to leave
and where another competent person is available.

Report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery to the supervisor.

Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
Grade 12 certificate.
Certificate of competency as a Winding Engine Driver.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a wind engine driver.
Ability to work within a demanding work environment independently and as
part of the team.
Good working experience within the mining environment a must.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
