Job Purpose & What You’ll Do
This program is designed to give recent graduates hands-on experience in core banking operations. You won’t just be doing data entry—you will be trained across multiple functions to build a solid foundation for a long-term banking career.
As a Graduate Trainee, your responsibilities will include:
- Credit & Risk Training: Learning how to screen loan applications within risk acceptance criteria and preparing monthly loan performance/disbursement reports.
- Business Development: Supporting retail and SME teams in identifying new business opportunities and promoting IZB products.
- Operations & Customer Support: Managing account opening targets, handling customer queries professionally, and distributing alternative digital channels.
- Administrative Tasks: Processing and filing documents, entering data into bank systems, and ensuring strict customer confidentiality.
Eligibility Criteria
Indo Zambia Bank has specific baseline requirements for this intake. Double-check that you meet all of them before applying:
- Age Limit: Must be between 20 and 27 years of age.
- Grade 12 Qualifications: A Credit or better in 5 subjects, which must include English and Mathematics.
- Academic Degree: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in Business, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- Added Advantages: Having relevant banking qualifications, prior banking experience, or membership in a professional body will give your application an edge.
