Our client in the Agricultural Industry is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team;
Duties and responsibilities include but are not subject to:
- Reporting on compathe ny’s performance supported by relevant reports
- Breeder costings
- Setting up controls in production, accounts, and sales for smooth reconciliations
- Making sure that key performance indicators of the accounts department are met.
- Controlling of debtors and petty cash accounts as well as depots
- Customer Relationship Management software implementation and usage
- Assisting IT in time-to-time Navision optimization
- Resolving all finance and business process related issues arising in audits
- Reviewing and updating the accounting and business policies
- Making sure the timelines for reconciliations, data entry, and reporting are met by all the departments.
- ROI and AR preparation
- Assisting in budget preparation
- Team development
Skills;
- Excellent communication skills and a sense of following up on issues.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Efficient when working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications;
- ZICA or ACCA qualification.
- 5 years of work experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
