The Judiciary is an arm of Government of the Republic of Zambia. Its mission is “to provide effective and efficient administration of justice accessible to all people in Zambiathrough impartial and timely adjudication without fear or favour”. In order to improve service delivery, the Judiciary in North-Western Province intends to fill in the vacant positions
as indicated below. Applications are therefore invited from suitable candidates to fill the following positions:
6. WATCHMAN (JSS 01) X 3 POSITION TO BE BASED AT:
i) Mumbeji Local Court
ii) Solwezi Local Court in Solwezi District
iii) Zambezi Local Court in Zambezi District.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will report to the Magistrate-in-Charge of the station. Some
of the responsibilities will include:
• Ensure that premises and goods are secured.
• Ensuring that all buildings and offices are locked after everyone has left.
• Lighting of the premises
• Timely reporting any damage, theft of property.
• Apprehend any persons on the premises found stealing or damaging institution
property.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Grade Nine (9) School Certificate
• At least two years’ experience in similar field with traceable referees
• Must be between the age of 18years and 44 years of age for external
applicants.
OTHER SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
• Must be able to read and write
• Honesty
