SHEP Consultants Limited, on behalf of our client, a wholly Zambian-owned agribusiness committed to producing high-quality, nutritious food through sustainable and environmentally responsible practices, invites applications from accomplished, commercially driven, and visionary leaders for the position of Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and profitability across the company’s: Bulk Oil, Cold Chain, Dry Goods, and Feedstock business units
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead the development and execution of the company’s growth strategy 2. Strengthen commercial performance and diversify revenue streams 3. Drive operational excellence, innovation and business transformation
4. Ensure sound financial stewardship and sustainable profitability
5. Strengthen corporate governance, risk management and compliance
6. Build and inspire a high-performing executive team
7. Develop strategic relationships with customers, investors, regulators and other stakeholders 8. Create sustainable long-term value for shareholders
ARE YOU THE LEADER WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
You should possess:
• A relevant bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, economics, agribusiness, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
• A postgraduate qualification or MBA will be an added advantage
• At least 10 years of relevant management experience
• At least 5 years at Executive or Senior Management level
• Demonstrated success in driving growth, profitability, operational excellence, and organisational transformation
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, agribusiness, retail, or distribution will be highly advantageous
