Civil Telecommunications Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, and supervise the construction of telecommunication towers and associated infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
• Ensure all tower construction activities comply with engineering standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Review and approve construction drawings, structural designs, and project documentation.
• Manage site inspections and ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates, and completion documentation.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in tower construction, foundation works, and site development.
• Experience managing contractors and supervising field construction teams.
