Control Room Operator Vacancy
Trade Zone Limited is currently looking to hire an experienced Control Room Operator to be based at the factory in Lusaka

Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor equipment in the gypsum plant control room to ensure optimal performance of the plant
• Read and interpret data from a variety of sources to make decisions on how to best operate the plant
• Communicate with other members of the plant team to coordinate activities and
troubleshoot problems
• Serve on-call as needed to respond to power outages or other emergencies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications
√ Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain proper operation of the gypsum plant
√ Keep accurate records of gypsum plant performance and maintenance activities
√ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks in the control room and throughout the power plant
√ Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
√ Report any problems or concerns to the plant manager or supervisor
√ Assist with training new plant control room operators
√ Participate in emergency drills and procedures
√ Grade 12 Certificate
√ Degree/Diploma or Any Related Field in industrial technology, engineering or IT
√ 2 years and Above work experience working in a gypsum plant or other industrial setting
√ Strong understanding of electricity, electronics, and mechanical systems
√ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
√ Working knowledge of computerized control systems
√ Proficiency with computers and software programs used for monitoring and controlling plant systems
