To support and sustain its operations, CCM is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:
Job title: Crane Operator
Responsibilities:
Operate mobile, overhead, or fixed cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position loads within mine, plant, and workshop areas.
Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of cranes, lifting gear, and safety devices before use.
Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with approved lifting plans, procedures, and load charts.
Communicate clearly with riggers, signalers, and supervisors to ensure safe and accurate lifting operations.
Monitor crane stability, ground conditions, and weather factors during lifting operations.
Report equipment defects, mechanical issues, or unsafe conditions immediately to the Person in Charge (PIC).
Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Comply strictly with CCM safety rules, including use of PPE, lifting permits, and hazard reporting.
