As we continue expanding our branch network, we are seeking a highly motivated and trustworthy Finance & Operations Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a young professional looking to grow within a dynamic healthcare company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
• Monitor daily sales reports from all branches and consolidate performance data.
• Verify the accuracy of daily cash and bank deposits and reconcile transactions.
• Identify and report anomalies in sales, expenses and banking activities to management. • Prepare monthly management accounts, including:
– Income Statement
• Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet)
– Cash Flow Statement
Prepare annual financial summaries and performance reports to monitor company growth and trends.
• Provide financial insights and
recommendations to management.
COMPLIANCE & ADMINISTRATION
• Prepare and submit statutory returns, including:
– NAPSA
– NHIMA
– PAYE
• Maintain accurate records for employees, landlords, suppliers and company contracts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and statutory deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Recent graduates and candidates with no prior work experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong proficiency in:
Microsoft Excel
Accounting systems
Point of Sale (POS) systems
Internet banking platforms
• Excellent analytical, reporting and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of financial compliance and statutory reporting.
• Applicants should preferably be between
21 and 26 years of age.
INVENTORY & OPERATIONS
• Conduct physical stock counts at each branch at least twice every month.
•Ensure stock records accurately reflect physical inventory.
• Update inventory records immediately upon receipt of stock.
• Perform stock adjustments within the inventory system where required.
• Assist with procurement and operational errands, including collection and delivery of business documents, supplies and
customer orders when necessary.
