The Opportunity

Your roles and responsibilities as Finance Associate shall include but will not be limited to;

Cashbook maintenance and bank reconciliations

Accounts receivable and accounts payable

Preparation of monthly journals

Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

Assisting with preparation of financial statements

Submission of tax returns

To qualify for the Finance Associate position, we require a minimum of:

CA (Z), ACCA or equivalent qualification

At least 3 years relevant experience

Skills and attributes for success

Knowledge of English at an advanced level

Confidence in PC use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Accounting/bookkeeping experience

Some experience with accounting software

Technically strong with excellent understanding of taxation

Analytical mind-set with attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems

Must be able to work with minimum supervision

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Flexibility and ability to juggle several demands at once
