FIRST OFFICER NON-TYPE RATED – JETSTREAM 41
Location: Kenneth Kaunda International Airport
Department: Flight Operations
Contract: 2 years/ Renewable
Reports To: Chief Pilot
Start Date: 1 October 2026
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The First Officer will take all reasonable steps to:
• Maintain familiarity with relevant Zambian aviation laws (ZCARs) and international air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures.
Maintain familiarity with such provisions of the Proflight Zambia Operations Manual as are necessary to fulfil his function.
• Assist the commander as requested, concerning administrative duties in relation to the flight. Support the commander in the maintenance of a proper standard of crew discipline, conduct and personal appearance.
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WHO:
• Zambian Citizen or resident preferred.
• Zambian CPL with instrument rating.
• 500 hrs total flight time.
• 500 hrs on multi engine turbine aircraft (Candidates with a multi engine rating and less than 500 hours are welcome to apply and may be considered on a case-by-case basis).
• Multi-Crew Cooperation qualification (MCC).
