EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Minet’s presence in Zambia dates back to 1952 when J.H. Minet Zambia Limited was established as a locally registered insurance broking and risk management company. The company was nationalized in 1976 but J.H. Minet’s involvement continued in the form of a management contract for the nationalized entity, Zambia National Insurance Brokers (ZNIB) until 1989.
In 1996, Minet re-established its presence in Zambia through a greenfield operation. The following year, the business was acquired by Aon Corporation as part of Aon’s global acquisition of the Minet Group. Consequently, the company became known as Aon Minet and was later renamed Aon Zambia Limited.
In 2017, private equity firm Capital works acquired Aon’s shareholding in several African operations. These operations were subsequently sold to Adenia Partners, together with local shareholders, including governments in various markets. This transaction brought together a network of businesses that has since become Aon’s largest global network correspondent.
As a result of its expansion came Minet Zambia Consulting Limited formerly Aon Zambia Pension Fund Administrators Limited in charge of offering employee benefits through pension scheme administration, pension monitoring, investment monitoring and actuarial consultancy.
