EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Tinna Medical Centre is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resource and Administration Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hospital’s human resource and administrative functions and supporting the smooth day-to-day management of staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing staff recruitment, selection, interviews and onboarding
• Preparing employment contracts, appointment letters and job descriptions
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
• Managing staff attendance, leave, absenteeism and time records
• Coordinating staff duty rosters with departmental heads
• Preparing and checking monthly payroll information in collaboration with the Finance Department
• Coordinating staff performance appraisals, probation reviews and training
• Handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace conflicts
• Developing and implementing human resource policies and procedures
• Monitoring professional registrations and practising licences for clinical staff
• Ensuring compliance with Zambian labour laws and other employment requirements
• Preparing regular human resource reports for Management
• Assisting with the general administration of the hospital
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have:
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field
• At least three years of practical experience in human resource management
• At least one year of experience in a supervisory, senior HR or HR generalist position
• Valid registration and a current practising certificate from the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
• Good knowledge of Zambian labour laws and employment procedures
• Practical experience in recruitment, payroll preparation, leave administration, employee relations and performance management
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel or WPS Office
• Strong communication, organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• The ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Previous experience working in a hospital, clinic or other healthcare facility will be an added advantage.
