Human Resource Intern
We are looking to hire a Human Resource Intern who will be responsible for supporting TopFloor with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources development and consulting department for the next 6 months.
Responsibilities:
Address client communication and requests or escalate them to senior team members;
Human Resource Development
Support the department to assess learning and development needs for new and existing clients;
Liaise with subject matter experts regarding the preparation, design and delivery of different HR Solutions;
Prepare, purchase and package the materials for all facilitated department solutions according to the set standards;
Apply the designed evaluation and assessment tools to measure effectiveness of facilitated client solutions;
Summarise assessment information into evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPI’s;
Liaise with clients about training, team building or consulting logistics and support the preparation for client events;
Learn to facilitate development solutions through a variety of delivery methods including indoor, outdoor and virtual instruction.
Human Resource Consulting
Develop a knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations and keep abreast of new developments in the HR field;
Proofread HR documents including proposals, contracts, reports, and handbooks;
Support the broadcasting of job advertisements and relevant department communication;
Sort incoming resumes and log them into appropriate database;
Assist in planning and scheduling of interviews with shortlisted candidates;
Assist in preparation and administering of screening forms and resumes for recruitments;
Support the conducting of background checks for shortlisted / interviewed candidates;
Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Must be aligned to the values of the TopFloor brand;
Must have a Diploma in Human Resources; a Degree in Human Resources is an added advantage;
Should have demonstrable skill in the use of MS Office skills (Word, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint);
Should understand how to use the Google based work systems (Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive).
Should possess demonstrable communication (written, verbal and non-verbal) and self-leadership skills.
Should be able to communicate and relate with colleagues and clients at different levels of management from different cultures;
Should have some experience with report writing and record keeping;
Should have ability to plan, be organised and manage time and deadlines effectively.
