The Role
- Coordinate and supervise couriers/riders within the assigned area.
- Ensure all parcels are properly handled and accounted for.
- Assist with route planning and daily dispatch coordination.
- Monitor rider attendance, productivity and conduct.
- Ensure strict compliance with road safety and company procedures.
- Ensure riders wear helmets and use company motorcycles responsibly.
- Report lost/damaged parcels, accidents, cash discrepancies and other incidents immediately.
- Deliveries in respective routes
- Managing of team of 10 couriers
- Support the training and supervision of new couriers.
Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid Motorcycle Rider’s Licence.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a courier/rider.
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Lusaka routes.
- Ability to use GPS/navigation and smartphone delivery applications.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable, honest, disciplined and able to work under pressure.
