The Judiciary is an arm of Government of the Republic of Zambia. Its mission is “to provide effective and efficient administration of justice accessible to all people in Zambiathrough impartial and timely adjudication without fear or favour”. In order to improve service delivery, the Judiciary in North-Western Province intends to fill in the vacant positions as indicated below. Applications are therefore invited from suitable candidates to fill the following positions:
4. LOCAL COURT MESSENGERS (JSS 03) X 5 TO BE BASED AT:
i) Lunga Local Court in Kasempa District.
ii) Chikenge Local Court in Kabompo District.
iii) Mize Local Court in zambezi District.
iv) Chavuma local Court in Chavuma District.
v) Manyinga Local Court in manyinga District.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidates will report to the Local Court Magistrate in Charge of the Station and some of the responsibilities will include the following:
• To ensure that there is order and security during Court proceedings.
• Effectively undertaking the services of Court processes and execution of Court
Orders in order to facilitate Court processes and enforce Court Judgements.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Full Form V or Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with Five (5) ‘O’ levels
Credit or better including English.
• Related professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Must be between the age of 18years and 44 years of age for external
applicants.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and any local languages.
