Position: Pension Operations Manager
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Reports to: Managing Director
About the Role
OFSL is looking for an experienced and results-driven professional to lead its pension scheme administration operations. The successful candidate will make sure services to clients, trustees and scheme members are efficient, compliant and of a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the full administration of pensiom schemes, including contributions, benefits and withdrawals.
• Ensure compliance with PIA, ZRA, SEC and other statutory requirements, including timely filing of returns.
Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, internal controls and business continuity plans. • Identify and reduce operational risks.
• Drive process improvemenat and make full use of the pension administration system, working with ICT. Oversee the operations budget, fee management and accurate client billing.
Manage relationships with corporate clients, trustees and scheme members, and act as the escalation point for complaints.
• Lead, train and appraise the pension operations team.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Certification in Pensions Management is highly desirable.
• At least 6 years of experience in pension administration, including at least 1 year in a senior management role.
• Strong knowledge of the Pension Scheme Regulation Act and PIA and ZRA regulations.
• Proven leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
