PLANNING MANAGER
ROOFY Investments Limited is seeking an accomplished and highly creative Planning Manager to establish and lead a new planning department in Lusaka. This is a leadership role for a proven real estate strategist who can turn market insight into strong project positioning, compelling campaigns and measurable commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead market research, project positioning and end-to-end planning for real estate developments. • Develop and execute brand strategies, event concepts, media plans and integrated promotional campaigns.
• Build the planning department from the ground up, including team structure, workflows, standards and performance evaluation mechanisms.
• Formulate project marketing strategies, communication themes, content plans and campaign schedules. • Integrate media channels and industry resources while building and maintaining strong media partnerships.
• Independently prepare project positioning reports, market analysis reports, marketing plans and major strategic proposals.
• Use AI-enabled productivity tools to strengthen market analysis, copywriting, presentations and departmental efficiency.
• Work closely with Sales and other departments to implement plans and evaluate campaign performance.
Candidate Profile
* 30–40 years of age; open to all genders.
* Relevant academic or professional background in real estate planning, marketing, advertising, communications or a related field.
* At least five years of experience in real estate planning, property marketing or a comparable role.
* Strong knowledge of the Lusaka property market, supported by a substantial portfolio of successful and verifiable projects that can be visited or independently confirmed. • An established network of media contacts, industry resources and professional relationships in Lusaka.
* Demonstrated ability to build teams, lead a department and coordinate effectively across functions.
• Outstanding creativity, commercial awareness, market insight and execution capability.
• Excellent report-writing skills in English or Chinese, with the ability to independently produce major planning and strategy reports.
• Advanced proficiency in AI productivity tools and standard office software, with the ability to produce professional proposals, reports and presentations.
• Strong ownership, discipline and resilience in a fast-paced real estate marketing environment.
Remuneration
Gross monthly salary: ZMW 12,000–15,000. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, professional capability and verified track record.
