COMPETITION & CONSUMER PROTECTION COMMISSION (CCPC)
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry. The CCPC was established under the Competition and Consumer Protection Act, CAP 417 of the Laws of Zambia, as amended by Act No. 21 of 2023.
In order to align its operations to good governance practices, the CCPC wishes to recruit dynamic and experienced professionals for the following positions:
RISK OFFICER (1)
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Undertakes development, review and implementation of the Commission’s Risk Management Policy,
• Framework, Procedures and maintain the Enterprise/Corporate Risk Register.
• Coordinate the identification, assessment and prioritization of emerging risks
• Monitor risk exposure and track implementation of agreed risk mitigation actions by Management
• Promote and support the development of a risk-aware culture
• Review departmental risk registers
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate
• A Degree in risk management, a business-related field from a recognized university, ACCA, CIMA, or CA Zambia. Certification in risk managemen ist an added advantage.
• Two (2) years experience in risk management, internal/external audit, compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Closing date: 31st July 2026 at 17:00 hours
