1. ARCHITECT
Job Purpose:
To plan, develop and implement building designs. They compile
feasibility reports, determine environmental impact, create
project proposals, estimate costs, determine timelines and oversee
construction processes.

Responsibilities:
• Meeting with clients and determining their needs and
requirements
• managing design projects from concept development
through to completion.
• developing and presenting project proposals
• adjusting designs and plans to meet the client’s needs
• Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and
construction documents.research and compiling
• conducting research and compiling reports on feasibility
and environmental impact.
complying with safety standards and local planning regulations.
and any other assigned role

Qualifications and Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in architecture or a related field
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Architects (ZIA)
• Grade 12 certificate
• 2-3 years work experience as an architect.
Excellent technical drawing skills
• ability to work well with others
• Must be of sound mind, innovative, creative, oriented and
ready to work anywhere as assigned.
• knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards
