Job Summary

The Primary responsibility of the job is to:

• To monitor country cash level and limits and monitor ATM uptime

• Deputise for the ATM Team Leader

• Take up additional duties including any other duties that may be provided by the line Manager

• Reconcile and resolve cash send and NFS queries

• Monitor and ensure all service are working on the ATMs

• Management of external vendor and processing of payments

Job Description

People Management 40%

Ensure that Team members receive coaching and feedback in order to archive their maximum potential

Ensure that team members own and manage customer queries and complaints by taking ownership and adhering to SLAs

Motivate staff and ensure they are recognized through the absa recognition schemes

Create an empowering environment for Team members, encouraging ownership and initiative.

Conduct snap checks and /or assist colleagues engaged in snap checks.

Agree targets and take accountability for the overall achievement of performance objectives for the team in terms of

Business Management 40%

-Customer experience

-cost performance

-Risk and rigour amazement

Budget accountability in costs such as overtime ,telephones etc

Brand ,product and business proposition :

-Manage SLA between the Bank and other 3rd party vendors

-develop and implement best practice procedures that ensure the attainment of absa ATM uptime target on a 5 week rolling average of 95%

Risk Management 15%

Ensure that cash environment and assets are secured

Ensure that all relevant regulatory requirements are met

Remediate audit findings and risk events

Attend various meetings

Ensure ATM sites are secured as per stipulated standards

Ensure that all revenue is collected

Maintain effective managements information

TCF Embedding 5%

Ensure TCF principles are adhered to by the Team at all times

Risk and Control

Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, absa Operational Risk Framework and internal absa Policies and Standards.

Education

Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
