Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Manager Reporting to: CEO

Job Summary: Our production company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing financial strategies, providing financial guidance to the senior management team, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and potential risks or opportunities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals

• Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and monitor annual budgets and long-term financial plans

• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales, operations, and human resources

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including tax, accounting, and financial reporting requirements

• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial operations

• Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA, CA, ACCA or ZICA preferred with 5 + years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

• Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies to support business goals
• Experience with financial software and systems, including ERP systems, Pastel or Sage accounting software, and financial reporting tools

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws, including tax, accounting, and financial reporting requirements
