Head Chef



We are a Lodge that offers top rate accommodation in a clean, comfortable and serene environment. We also provide conferencing facilities for various events. We are seeking to employ individuals who possess the right skill set and qualities for the below positions.


We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive to customers ensuring high quality and contentment.

Job Duties

· Supervising and managing the process of preparing food and any related tasks

· Create menus with fresh or classic foods to ensure variety and high-quality servings

· Plan orders of equipment and ingredients according to identified shortages.

· Have complete responsibility for supervising and training kitchen staff.

· Adhering to safety and sanitary requirements.

· Encourage an environment of respect and cooperation among coworkers

Job Requirements

· Minimum 4 years proven experience as Head Chef

· Culinary Degree preferred or related Diploma

· Full Grade 12 certificate

· Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management

· Outstanding communication and leadership skills

· Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes

· Credentials in health and safety training

Note that Candidates must be willing to occasionally travel / work between Mongu & Lusaka as we have Lodges in both towns.
