REVENUE OFFICER – INDIRECT TAXES AND EXCISE GRADE ZRA07 (5 POSITIONS) (1 Position(s))
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Assistant Inspector, you will be responsible for providing clerical services and performing other tasks as assigned in accordance with the unit plans.
Responsibility:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining a clean Taxpayer register;
Updating the demographics of taxpayer accounts;
Acknowledging and maintaining a register of taxpayer correspondence;
Issuing of forms, leaflets and other documentation as necessary;
Correcting data errors on Taxpayer Accounts as assigned;
Maintaining and updating of correspondence register and office files;
Preparing and updating daily revenue expectations;
Preparing performance and other management reports;
Attending to taxpayer inquiries;
Implementing risk management in all work processes;
Following up on non-filers and unaccompanied returns immediately after due dates;
Implementing the PMDS in accordance with HR guidelines ; and
Participating in all staff wellness activities and other health activities in the unit.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade Twelve School Certificate or General Certificate of Education Equivalent;
University Degree or Diploma in any field or equivalent; and
Knowledge of French or Chinese a will be an added advantage.
