Business Analysis Manager

Zamtel is looking for a Business Analysis Manager who shall be able to perform business analysis to support the innovation process from business identifying, coming up with ideas,  evaluating the ideas, and run assessments on business feasibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifying and coming up with ideas on business opportunities

Help identify and discover new opportunities for innovation from the executive vision or corporate strategy, hub program strategy, hub brainstorming sessions, customer insights, employee inputs, industry and market trends, competition, and other external players in the innovation ecosystem.

Help with coming up of ideas through the crowdsourcing ideation process through online web portal, email, and other tools. Facilitate innovation workshops, meetings and / or town halls that will  help stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation.

Develop business ideas.

Support the idea maturation process with hub Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), other communities, partners, or research and development (R&D).

Develop Business Cases for initiating innovation projects or tasks, Elicit and / or craft requirements to support the innovation product, service, solution, or process.

Support the development of Use Cases or elicit exiting ones.

Evaluating business opportunity 

Supporting the assessment of  business feasibility of which products, services and solutions give the best likelihood of success in the market, helping in the decision with the business idea.

Academic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Business Management, Information Technology or any field with focus on creativity, research or process design.

Skills:

Proven analytical experience.

Writing business cases.

Crafting requirements.

Ability to multi-task and to  prioritize.

Good writing and speaking skills. Able to manage people.

Conversant with business opportunity / use of case evaluation techniques.

Creating of opportunity maps. Analysing the market for opportunities.

Coming up with ideas on design thinking. Designing the business model.

Running pilot tests for the business model.
